yall remember Mouth? This Martian priest is actually a member of the secret cult that Mouth ran away from. They are said to practice "black sciences", which is the study and experimentation very bizarre things, such as the combination of dark magic and science.

This secret cult is really a mysterious society of followers of the prophets of the Martian gods who, according to legend, came to Earth when Mars was dying. The inhabitants of Mars were called Vulkans (VOOL-kahns), and Mars was really called Vulka.

The Vulkan prophets were said to have arrived at Earth in the year 11,000 BC. Already, there were small empires ruling small countries. But as soon as the prophets arrived, they were worshiped as gods themselves. But the prophets didn't want to worshiped. They wanted the humans to worship the Vulkan gods. Their dream was to recreate the Vulkan empires on Earth. In no time, the prophets had thousands of human followers. The prophets eventually created a huge island somewhere in the Atlantic ocean, where they would start to colonize. This island would soon be called the Ancient City of Atlantis by the ancient Greeks thousands of years later.

When the prophets became gravely ill from the foreign bacteria of Earth, their followers vowed that they would once again bring about the great Vulkan empires that would rule the Earth, as it did on Mars....er...Vulka. Just before the prophets died, they told their followers that they must be a secret organization and must wait for and all-powerful empire to rise, so that that empire will be a mere puppet to the Vulkan religion and will eventually transform into a Vulkan empire.

Thousands of years later, such an empire rose: The All-American Empire, which was created by a dictator of a president in the year 2012. His name was Jason Orlovitz. Shortly after its rise to power, a group of Vulkan followers convinced Orlovitz that they would create new technologies and powerful weapons for the American Empire. When Orlovitz accepted their offer, they were kept a secret from the people, the Military, and even Congress because Orlivitz was afraid that they would think that working for priests would unconstitutional and that he would be impeached.

As planned, the Vulkan followers would soon do all they could to transform the American Empire, along with other empires, into the Great Vulkan Powers that, according to myths and legends, were the greatest empires in the solar system.

the reason why that this priest looks all gross is because the majority of the followers wanted to look just like the prophets. So, they created a substance that, when injected, would turn their skin into some sort of shell, which would crack whenever they move but would never feel any pain or get infected. This would make them look at least a little bit like the prophets, but not by much...
